Autumn Equinox Yoga & Wellbeing Day Retreat

 Sunday 21st September 2025  | 10am – 5pm | £80pp

The Autumn Equinox is a moment of perfect balance — when day and night are equal, and light and dark meet in harmony. It invites us to pause, reflect, and align with the natural rhythms of the turning year.

Join us for a nourishing day retreat to honour this seasonal shift. We’ll begin with a Hatha–Yin inspired yoga practice. This balanced approach supports both body and mind, developing strength and flexibility while releasing tension in the deeper connective tissues, promoting a sense of ease and relaxation. We’ll then be guided into Yoga Nidra — the yoga of deep relaxation, leaving you feeling restored from the inside out.

Our day will also include mindful time outdoors, connecting with the season’s energy through nature-based practices. Together, we’ll reflect on the year so far — recognising our personal harvests, releasing what no longer serves us, and envisioning the seeds we wish to nurture for the year ahead.

A wholesome, plant-based lunch is included, along with tea, coffee, and nourishing snacks throughout the day.

We’ll close with a deeply restorative sound bath, lovingly offered by the Wight Healing Angel, leaving you grounded, refreshed, and in harmony with the season.

£80 per person — spaces are limited. The retreat is suitable for all, including beginners to yoga.

Restorative Evening of Yoga with Mav

Friday 26th September 2025 I 6pm - 8:30pm I £25pp

Mav began her yoga teaching journey in 2009. After many years of leading traditional weekly classes, her heart has found its true calling in Restorative Yoga.

In today’s fast-paced world, we’re constantly on the go—bombarded by stimulation, pressure, and responsibility. This way of living often leads to stress, anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and even depression. The truth is: our nervous systems weren’t designed for this.

Restorative Yoga offers a gentle, deeply nourishing pause for the body, mind, and nervous system.

Using props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets, the body is fully supported in each pose. This allows the muscles to release tension, the mind to slow down, and the nervous system to shift from "fight or flight" into the calming parasympathetic state—our natural "rest and digest" mode.

Benefits of Restorative Yoga include:

  • Improved sleep

  • Reduced stress and anxiety

  • Lowered blood pressure

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Relief from chronic pain

  • A sense of grounding, calm, and inner stillness

Class sizes are intentionally kept small (maximum of 8 students) to ensure individual attention and a peaceful environment.
Bookings are essential.

Winter Solstice Yoga & Wellbeing Day Retreat

Sunday 21st December 2025 | 10am – 5pm | £80pp

The Winter Solstice marks a sacred pause — the still point between two great cycles of the year. The longest night has arrived, and from this moment, the light slowly returns.

Join us for a day of rest, reflection, and gentle renewal as we honour this turning of the seasons. We’ll begin with a Solstice-inspired Hatha–Yin yoga practice, designed to counter seasonal lethargy, lift the spirit, and boost those happy hormones, before sinking into a deeply nourishing savasana — a reminder of the beauty in slowing down and hibernating.

We’ll then wrap up warmly and step outside for a mindful winter walk, connecting with the stillness of the season and the landscape around us. Returning indoors, we’ll gather in a cacao ceremony, opening our hearts to deeper connection with ourselves, nature, and the spirit of the Solstice — creating space for reflection, intention-setting, and gentle healing.

In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a creative, sensory workshop with The Wight Apothecary, crafting our own seasonal aromatherapy roller balls to take home — a little bottle of winter magic.

A wholesome plant-based lunch, plus tea, coffee, and nourishing snacks, will be provided throughout the day.

This retreat is suitable for all, including complete beginners to yoga.
