Family Portraits with Animal Friends - A Short story, some history & an offer.

Boynton & Jones have a wonderfully long and varied history with Nettlecombe Farm. In 2011 they became our first ever commercial client. A relationship that has thrived for 15 years now and helped us develop an ethos of working with children and animals wherever possible!
Later, as our photographic endeavour was developing, I worked at the farm, leading the animal feeding tours that guests enjoy daily and taking care of their wellbeing. It was particularly strange when Chris, the Jones in Boynton & Jones, had to photograph me leading the tours for the farm and gave me some insight into being the subject of a Boynton & Jones photoshoot! I continued this job for 5 years alongside building our own business and really loved it. Even today, I visit the farm regularly and fill in for Tallulah or Mandy when they need someone.
Whilst I was working at the farm, families staying there often asked me to photograph them with the animals and on the land. The animals there are by far the friendliest I have ever met. Previously, every sheep I had ever met ran a mile at the sight of me, but I always joke that these make Labradors look standoffish!
Knowing how much those families that we have photographed there cherish the images we produced for them, made us want to open this opportunity up to everyone; guests and non-residents alike. So this year, we teamed up once again to make this happen.
