The Dairyman's Daughter is a popular pub serving food all day.

The Spyglass Inn, Esplanade, Ventnor - 01983 855338

The famous Spyglass Inn sits at the western end of Ventnor Esplanade, in a superb position overlooking the English Channel. As you approach the Inn, which was built around 1830, you can't help but be impressed by it's unique location. "The back of the Wight" was for centuries the haunt of smugglers, landing their contraband from the French coast, only a few hours said away. The Inn boasts a massive collection of seafaring memorabilia accumulated by the owners. The Spyglass Inn is well known for the excellent Ventnor Bay crabs & lobsters, and many other mouth watering dishes on offer throughout the year. The well-stocked bar offers nightly entertainment to suit all tastes.

Waterside location, large waterfront palm garden and conservatory, extensive home-cooked menu served daily 12 noon-2:30pm and 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Fresh local fish and shell fish specialities, home-made cakes and cream teas served all day. Badger brewery and local real ales. Children catered for.
The Buddle Inn, Niton Undercliff - 01983 730243

Fine old country pub dating back in part to the 1500's. Flagstone floors, log fires, oak beams, good old fashioned hospitality. Real ales, fine wines & ports. Extensive menu including daily specials.

Large children's area. Only a short walk to St. Catherine's lighthouse.
The Wight Mouse Inn, Chale - 01983 730243

The Wight Mouse Inn, attached to the Clarendon Hotel, has a great traditional atmosphere, open log fires, 6 real ales, an amazing collection of 365 malt whiskies and three very good children/games rooms (high chairs available). The Wight Mouse Inn is open all day, every day for delicious hot meals and drinks. There is live music every night and a courtesy bus is available.

Children are made especially welcome. Visit Mouse World (an indoor childrens' play area), play on swings and climbing frame and the bouncy castle on fine weather days. Visit the Chilled Mouse for ice cream and soft drinks.
